DO YOU HAVE ANY AV EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE?No. We do have power available and multiple outlets that can be utilized. We are not responsible for running any AV needs during your event and ask that you work with a separate professional for any of your AV needs.

ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS WHEN IT COMES TO DÉCOR?You may use command strips to hang décor from the walls of the venue; the use of nails, screws, staples or penetrating items on our walls, floors, or ceiling is strictly prohibited. Any tape or gummed backing materials must be properly removed and in an extreme case of any wall damage, the amount will be deducted from the security deposit any overages will be billed.

WHAT IS EXPECTED OF THE CLIENT AND EVENT VENDORS DURING THE BREAK-DOWN PERIOD FOLLOWING YOUR EVENT?The renter is responsible for removing any and all items brought to the venue on the day of the event for décor. Items may not be left at the venue overnight following the event. Through The Grapevine, LLC will be in a clean condition prior to your event. You are required to return the space to the same clean condition in which it was found, unless payment for clean-up was made. Clean-up fee will be an addition $150.00 Otherwise, all trash must be collected, properly bagged and removed by the renter. All items must be removed at the end of your event unless approved otherwise by Through The Grapevine, LLC in writing. No extra time will be allotted. A Manager will determine if any damage has been done. If not, the damage deposit will be returned within ten (10) business days. If damage is noted, it will be immediately documented and the client will be contacted within 24 hours to discuss any event associated damage.

WHAT IS INCLUDED WHEN I RENT THE SPACE AT THROUGH THE GRAPEVINE FOR MY EVENT?Please reference our extensive list of features included in your rental rate. We also list what features are available at an additional cost as well as the responsibilities we ask of you as our client.

IS THROUGH THE GRAPEVINE HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE?Absolutely! Our entrance and restrooms are easily accessible for those with physical challenges.

CAN I BRING IN MY OWN VENDORS?ABSOLUTELY! We want you to have the flexibility to work with the vendors that best fit your stylistic and budgetary needs. We love to recommend local preferred event professionals, so please ask if you would like a referral for a particular vendor need. To ensure the success of your event, we do ask that you submit a complete vendor list for your event fifteen (15) days prior to your event date. Knowing the other event professionals and/or family and friends who are working to make your event successful is an important tool in our partnership with you.

WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM CAPACITY OF GUESTS AT THROUGH THE GRAPEVINE?Can occupy up 30 people comfortably. The maximum event seating is 40.

HOW DO I SECURE MY EVENT DATE AT THROUGH THE GRAPEVINE? AND WHAT IS THE DEPOSIT SCHEDULE?Thank you for considering to hosting your event at, Through The Grapevine. Our goal is to work with you to give your guests an experience. Event dates are scheduled on a first come, first served basis. To secure your event date, please complete the inquiry request form on the Events page. One of our event coordinators will connect with you within 24 hours to discuss to the details of your event. If you would like to proceed after your consultation, we request that you sign a space rental agreement and pay the non-refundable deposit.

DO I NEED EVENT INSURANCE?Contingent on the event type we will ask that you get a one-day event insurance policy with Through The Grapevine listed as co-insured. These policies typically cost around $150 and are intended to protect you and the venue from any liability that may arise from your event. You may obtain this type of insurance from the same insurance agent that covers your car or home.

WHERE SHOULD GUESTS PARK?Through The Grapevine is located in Downtown. Guest will have to plan their parking and consider any fees associated with parking on the street or nearby parking lots.

HOW LONG DO I HAVE ACCESS TO THE SPACE AT THROUGH THE GRAPEVINE ON THE DAY OF MY EVENT?There is a minimum of two hour rental Monday – Thursday 9am- 10pm and minimum of 3 hour rental on Friday – Sunday 5pm – 12am when you book your event at Through The Grapevine. You will have to factor set up and take down of your event within the time you rent. All trash must be properly bagged and removed by the renter unless otherwise approved by Through The Grapevine, LLC in writing. No extra time will be allotted.

IS SMOKING ALLOWED AT THROUGH THE GRAPEVINE?Through The Grapevine is a tobacco and drug free zone.

DOES THROUGH THE GRAPEVINE OFFER A CATERING KITCHEN?While we do allow for small can burnners to keep food warm, we DO NOT offer any onsite preparation or cooking. In addition, we do not offer a space for caterers to wash dishes, glassware or serving utensils. We ask that those items be removed and cleaned off-site.

WHAT DEPOSITS DO YOU REQUIRE?Security Deposit Of $150 will be required within 48 hours of booking. This deposit will hold the space for your event. $75 of the deposit will be non-refundable administrative fee and $75 will be held as a security deposit. Once a walk through is completed and cleared from damages after your event, the security deposit will be returned to you. If damage is found, the renter is financially responsible for damages to the building during rental time above the security deposit amount. The renter is responsible for any damage to the space that happens as a result of your rental activity including broken items, etc.

WHAT ARE THE RULES ASSOCIATED WITH THE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL AT THROUGH THE GRAPEVINE?Alcohol is allowed on the premises of Through The Grapevine. If you choose to provide your own alcohol, you will need to apply for a “Limited Special Occasion Liquor License” from the NC ABC Board. We will ask for a copy of your ABC permit as well as the credentials of any bartenders. It is unlawful to serve alcoholic beverages to anyone under the age of 21.
